K.C. Kummerfeld is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience guiding private and public life sciences companies through growth, fundraising, and strategic transactions. He brings deep expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, SEC compliance, and business operations.

Mr. Kummerfeld has held senior leadership roles at several biotechnology companies, most recently serving as SVP of Finance and Corporate Controller at Arcturus Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ARCT), where he played a key role in financial strategy, public reporting, and the management of a $63 million BARDA-funded mRNA vaccine initiative. 

Over his career, he has supported more than 15 M&A transactions and raised over $1 billion in funding through public and private channels.
